After years of successfully
playing the nightclub scene and other venues in pursuit
of a recording contract, Bloodstone took their act to
London to be discovered. During that journey, an
opportunity was offered to perform for the headliner, Al
Green. They accepted and needless to say this
opened the door to stardom after receiving a twenty
minute standing ovation. Decca Records offered the
group a major record deal and by the time they finished
touring England and Europe, they were climbing the
charts in America with their first hit, "Natural
High". |
