Whether he is in front of the camera
or behind it, Tim Reid is a creative force to be reckoned with. This Emmy nominated actor has legions of fans from his many years on hit television comedies and dramas, but now he's behind the camera, directing
and producing feature films just the way he always wanted. Beginning as an upwardly mobile businessman (marketing for Dupont), Reid soon met insurance-agent- turned-comedian, Tom
Dreesen. Discovering they had similar ambitions, the two developed an anti-drug presentation for grade schools using humor to get across their message. They then formed the first black and white comedy team
in America. Reid is also an accomplished writer. He has scripted TV episodes on such subjects as interracial relationships, gun control, circumstantial evidence,
mystical powers of Native Americans and contamination in our food sources. He has also written and published a book of poetry illustrated with his own photographs and titled As I Feel It. |
